Carrie Fitch

Carilyn "Momma Carrie" Bourg Fitch, 68, born in Lockport, Louisiana, was called by our Lord on February 14, 2016, after her courageous battle with cancer. Momma Carrie was a 1965 graduate of Holy Savior High School, Lockport, Louisiana. She moved to Simonton, Texas around 1991, where she and her husband worked to build a successful glass company. Momma Carrie was a lover of dogs, family, friends, and cooking cajun food. Momma Carrie never met a stranger and when you were introduced to her, it was usually followed by a lifelong friendship.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fitch, her mother and father, Emily Adams Bourg and Sidney Augustus Bourg, Jr., and her brother Robert Richard"BBY" Bourg. She is survived by her sons, Mike Joseph McCullough, Mark Anthony McCullough and his wife Sandra Carden McCullough, and her daughter Emily Anne Schneider. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Jourdan Nicole McCullough, Mark Anthony McCullough, Jr., Austin Anthony McCullough, Michial Dean McCullough, Tyler James McCullough, Gabrielle Rose McCullough, Brennan Michael Martin, Sydney Anne Schneider, Mollie Ann McCullough, and one great grandchild, Ava Jolyn McCullough. Also survived by her sister and three brothers, Marilyn Moore, Sidney Augustus Bourg, III, Raleigh Bourg, and Charles Bourg.

Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Guardian Angel Roman Catholic Church, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, 5616 Gresham St., Wallis, TX 77485-0487. Rosary will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a mass. Viewing and burial services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, 12:30 – 1:30 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with burial following, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.

Celebration of life at Momma Carrie’s home in Simonton, Tx immediately following services on Saturday.
