Cary Wayne Winkel, 52, of Houston, passed away Friday June 27th, 2014 after a long battle with heart and lung disease. Cary was an avid reader and history enthusiast. He loved music, spoke several languages, and enjoyed travelling. He is survived by his mother Gracie Winkel, sister Lisa Lange, brother-in-law Kevin Lange, nephews William and Andrew Lange, friend Victor Morales of Mexico as well as numerous other family members and friends. His sense of humor, kind heart and deep love for his family will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 at 12:00 followed by a celebration of his life at 2:00. Service will be held at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors. Cary will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas along-side his father, Walther Winkel and his grandparents.
