Casiano Bermejo Endriga Sr.

Casiano Bermejo Endriga, 86, of Houston, passed away on October 7, 2026 12:12 PM in Clarewood House Retirement Community in Houston.

Novena will be held via Zoom from October 7 – October 15.

He requested to be cremated and for his urn to be placed in the Endriga Family cemetery plot in Manila, Philippines. Memorial Service info will be provided at a later date.

Arrangements are made by Garden Oaks Funeral Home, 13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083.

Casiano Bermejo Endriga, was born in Manila, Philippines to Mamerto Endriga and Florencia Bermejo Endriga on November 25, 1940. He went to grade school at Philippines Normal College and attended college at the University of the East. He married Susan Tobias Tansiongco on December 1964 in Palanan, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. He graduated from University of the East with an accounting degree. In the Philippines, he worked as the Chief Financial Analyst for the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). After migrating to the United States in 1978, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant in Houston, Texas, and Worcester, Massachusetts. He was involved in senior community events and loved sharing his Christian testimonies with people of different faiths. All who have met him can attest to his positivity, his love of humanity, and his wonderful sense of humor.

Casiano Bermejo Endriga is preceded in death by his parents, Mamerto and Florencia Endriga; his brothers, Guillermo and Mamerto Jr.; and his only sister, Carmela Endriga Kintanar.

Casiano Bermejo Endriga is survived by family members in Houston, western North Carolina, and Pittsburgh including his spouse, Susan Tansiongco Endriga; his 5 children: Fernando, Andrea, Casey, Joseph, and Marie and their spouses: Kate Hamilton Endriga, Kevin Benjamin Gresalfi, and Thomas Helsel; his 5 grandchildren: Christopher and his wife Nikki LeClair Endriga, Susan Abbigail Endriga, Alexis Rae Helsel, and Chelsea Marie Helsel; and his 3 great-grandchildren: Katherine, Oliver, and Elliot.

The family of Casiano Bermejo Endriga wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Endriga and Tansiongco extended families especially Rae Endriga, Ging Endriga, Victor Endriga, Orchid Farales, Ermel Tansiongco, Melanie Tansiongco Welzin, Deorie Amparo Tansiongco, and Dennis Tansiongco.

The family of Casiano Bermejo Endriga would also like to thank Hermann Memorial Hospital SE & SW, Dr. Jianwei Feng, cardiologist, and the Clarewood House Skilled Nursing Facility where he was loved and cared for by every single staff member.
