Catherine Antonia Conner

Catherine Antonia Conner was born June 13, 1923 in Points Less, Louisiana, to Dominick Lee and Janie (Salvato) Salsiccia, and passed from this earth to be with her Savior on November 22, 2015 at the age of 92. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Christian, who implanted her love and faith deeply into the hearts of her children and grandchildren. Her life revolved around church and family. She was a homemaker most of her life who taught Sunday School for 46 years and was active in many areas of church ministry. She was also a talented cook, creating wonderful memories with her cookies, pies and cakes. Catherine was married for 51 years and had four children: Joshua Bruce Conner, Glenn Stuart Conner, Rita Darlene Conner and Gary Wayne Conner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Buel (J.B.) Conner and her son, Glenn Stuart Conner, as well as her parents and brother, Dominick "Nick" LaBoa. She leaves behind to mourn her loss: her son, Bruce and wife Ruth Ann of Cold Spring, Texas; daughter, Rita Osha and husband Dennis of Gladewater, Texas; and son, Gary Wayne Conner of Houston, Texas.

Services will be under the direction of Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is at 2:oo p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 with interment following at Brookside Memorial Park.
