Cecilia Jane Dziedzic, 91, of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 19, 2026. Born April 15, 1935, in Brenham, TX, Cecilia’s life was marked by steadfast love, quiet strength, and a faithful devotion to family and church.
In her early years, Cecilia moved with her family to Houston, TX, where she attended Christ the King Church and School and later St. Agnes Academy. These formative experiences helped shape a life grounded in faith and guided by a deep sense of purpose.
Cecilia was married to John for 62 years, a partnership defined by enduring commitment and care. She was a devoted mother to three children: John, James, and Karen. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—James, Dennis, Janiece, Timothy, Kendall, Katie, Samantha, Jonathan, and Zachary—and through her great-grandchildren: Jourdan, Aidan, Jasper, Jasmine, Travis, and Presley. Cecilia was also a great-great-grandmother to Braxton and Lou Lou.
Cecilia found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures—playing cards, gardening, and, above all, the life of her church, which she loved dearly. She also gave of herself through her involvement with the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, reflecting a steady commitment to community and service.
