Cesar was born In Pachuca Hidalgo, Mexico to Cesareo Gutierrez and Rebeca Diaz, on February 19, 1919. He was the youngest child of two sisters and 4 brothers; Rosita, Emma, Mateo, Jose Luis and Adan.
He married Mirna Diaz on March 8, 2000 in San Francisco, California.
When Cesar came to the US, he started working as a painter at Bethlehem ShipYards painting battleships, later He became a master plaster with many years of experience, becoming part of the Plaster’s union in 1946 as a Mason and retired in 1984.
Cesar was involved in humanitarian work, and along with his deceased wife funded La Casa Del Mexicano; a non-profit organization that in cooperation with Flying doctors, and the Shriners hospital went to Mexico and Central America to bring handicapped children to the US to receive specialized medical attention. They personally transported the children, arranged housing for them, and contributed to their well-being. For all their work, they received the Humanitarian Award of the year by the Lulac Association.
Cesar is survived by his wife Mirna Diaz and Son Noe Acedez.
