Charles John Beisert was born on January 06, 1935 in Lincoln, Texas to Martin Beisert and Clara Kasper. He was confirmed on April 10, 1949 at Christ Lutheran Church by Rev. Herbert Hartfield. His confirmation verse was Revelation 3:12, “He that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, the name of the city of my God, which is Jerusalem, which comets down out of heaven from God: and I will write upon him my new name.”. Charles attended school at Christ Lutheran School in Lombard, TX. On July 23, 1961, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Josephine Faske at Immanuel Lutheran Church by Rev. Max Studtman. Charles and Mary Jane had two sons and a daughter, Timothy, Judy, and Michael. Charles worked many years in the construction industry as a drywall contractor.
He was a faithful member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Houston, TX where he was an trustee for 4 years and also worked quietly behind the scenes at church functions making bbq with his brothers, participating in scouts, keeping the church ground neat and other volunteer work to serve his Lord. Charles enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing, and he was never far from a good fresh cup of coffee. However, his biggest smiles and happiness came when he was able to spend time with his grandchildren Jake Norrholm, Ashley Fry and Brittany Beisert and loved to hear about his step-grandchildren Krystal Walker, James, Jason and Jake Spilko.
