Charles V. Brothers

Charles V. Brothers III, 71 of Houston, Texas, a loving and caring husband, brother & uncle passed away on April 23, 2012, his 71st birthday. Charlie was born in Des Moines Iowa April 23, 1941 to Charles V. Jr. (deceased) and Carol Lynn Brothers (deceased). Charlie is survived by his wife of 11 wonderful years Adelina Brothers. Charlie was the oldest of three children, preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Brothers and survived by brother, Chad Brothers of Lewis Center, Ohio. Charlie graduated from Drake University in Des Moines Iowa. Charlie also served our country honorably as a sergeant in the Army National Guard before heading into the private sector. Charlie had a long work history in the oil industry in Houston before making a change and dedicating the rest of his life to the Real Estate Appraisal industry where he established his company Brothers & Associates as the sole proprietor and flourished successfully for the past 25 years. Over the past decade Charlie enjoyed spending time with his wife, family & was a greyhound rescue owner for retired racing dogs. He also enjoyed being commissioner of the Palm Beach Fantasy Football league and found a renewed passion for golf. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Charlie will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm on Friday April 27th at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
