Charles T. King

Charles loved the Lord and his family immensely. Charles was a faithful member of Baptist Temple for over 45 years, serving numerous times as Chairman of the Deacons, Sunday School Director for Senior Adults and served on various committees. Charles was a member of Lazybrook Church at the time of his passing.

Charles is preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart, Madge. They were married for over 63 years.

Charles is survived by his three loving and devoted children, Kay Hutcheson, Destin, FL, Rick King and wife Robbie, Houston, TX, and Keith King and wife Shannon, Cypress, TX,; two grandchildren who were the light of his life, Kyle King and Rachel King. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Ann Mitchell, Oklahoma City; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

We want to give special thanks to Dad’s three caregivers who Dad loved and we appreciate so much, Mary Bingley, Kathy Parker and Janey Reed. They truly kept Dad going in recent years.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 5:00-8:00pm at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, Texas. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Garden at Pat H. Foley & Company, with interment following at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Fund at Lazybrook Baptist Church, 1822 W. 18th Street, Houston, TX 77008.
