He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joseph Mantheiy, and sister, Dolores Moraski. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth and children Patricia Doyle and husband Corbin, Margaret Mantheiy and spouse Rebecca Parnell, Katherine Owens and husband Douglas, all of Dallas, and Amy Rightmer and husband Thomas, of Magnolia.
He is also survived by grandchildren Kalen and Grace Doyle, Madeline, Matthew and Mia Owens, and Ryan, David, and Lauren Rightmer.
A visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, Texas, 77068, followed by a rosary on Friday, October 12, 2018.. A visitation will also be at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas, 75220, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Calvary Hill Mausoleum Chapel at 12:00 pm, on Monday, October 15, 2018.
