

Charles Rhea Terry, loving husband, father, brother, and son, passed away March 2, 2011. He was born in Hillsboro, Texas, on May 13,1962, to Patricia Sue and Joel Reed Terry. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Joel and father-in-law, Bert Lindley. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jaxie Ruth Terry, sons Joel Randall and Marc Wayne Terry, mother Patricia Sue Terry, sister Gayla Ann Clark, mother-in-law Betty Ruth Lindley, brothers-in-law Doug and John Lindley, sister-in-law Joan Rolf, nieces Laura, Lisa, Anna, Kathleen, Lauren, Mandi, and Danielle, nephews Brad, Matt, Ryan, Stephen, Colin, David, and Michael, and many extended family and friends.
Charlie worked as Communications Manager for Mphasis Infrastructure Services based in California. He grew up in Austin, Texas, where he graduated from Anderson High School in 1980. He also attended Stephen F. Austin University. He and his family moved to Houston in 1998 where he was an active member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, Katy, Texas. Charlie had a strong faith in the Lord.
Following in his father's footsteps, Charlie loved to cook, hunt, fish, and farm, as well as enjoy family vacations that involved the outdoors. He was dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America where he volunteered and helped his sons and friends with projects and campouts as they approached Eagle Scout rank. He worked diligently with Texas Parks and Wildlife to maintain a wildlife refuge status at the family farm.
