Charles Vanmeter

Charles graduated from high school in 1969 from Justin Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas.

He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros. He was an outstanding catcher for the Sunset Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Martha Jean Mathis Vanmeter, his sister Susan, brother Johnny and sister Linda. Charles leaves his loving wife Belinda Ann Vanmeter. Together they spent 24 beautiful years in union. He leaves behind 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 4 bonus children, 7 bonus grandchildren, 6 bonus great grandchildren, and 1 spoiled dog named Sheba.

Charles will be known for his generosity, warmth, humor, unselfishness, compassion, dining, his love for animals, the Dallas Cowboys, and his love for music, specifically, the Beatles, the Eagles, Bob Seger, and the Rolling stones.
