Charles Lee Zimmermann

Charlie was born in Houston Texas. He grew up in Oak Forest and attended Katherine Smith & Scarborough with the class of 1976. He went to Trade school and became a master automotive painter and work mostly for MC Customs. His passions were his family, friends, the outdoors and his motorcycle (MJ). He lived life to the fullest and was a friend to all who met him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his sister, mother and father: Debra Jean, Edna Jean and Hugo H. Zimmermann; and also his ex-wife Sharon Foster.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Marilyn Compton; his daughter, her husband and his grandchildren: Sara, Jimmy, Kati and Liam Castillo; his sister, her husband, children and grandchildren: Cindy, Allan and Jennifer Kresta and her fiancé Sheldon Lester, Ryan, Stephanie, Heidi and Wells Kresta, Lindsey and Ray Cavazos; his brother and his wife and children: Randy, Claire, Carlos and Katie Zimmermann and also numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am, at Advent Lutheran Church, 5820 Pinemont Drive, Houston, TX 77092. Casual dress.
