

Charlie Joseph Dichero, 82, joined God on June 30, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Born May 2, 1930 in Houston, Texas, Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Rose Dichero; and brothers, Joseph and Samuel Dichero. Charlie is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and James Teinert; and brother and sister-in-law, Frankie and Naomi Dichero; and sister-in-law, Lena Dichero. He was much loved by his many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. Charlie served in the military and retired as a machinist after 42 years. Thanks to the Houston Cancer Center, Memorial City Hospital, and VITAS Hospice.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Hunters Creek Chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024, with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street, Houston, Texas 77007. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemani in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Blvd., Houston, Texas 77023
