Cheryl Bautsch McClellan 77, of Houston, died January 29, 2024. Cheryl was born in Houston February 13, 1946. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Denise Bautsch, her brother Charles E Bautsch III, and her mother and father, Charles E Bautsch II and Shirley E Bautsch.
Cheryl had a 40 plus year prestigious career in medical management. She specialized in medical, surgical and psychiatric nursing. She was responsible for setting up various nursing programs as Director of Ben Taub Hospital’s emergency room. She also helped set up the Life Flight program.
She is survived by son Charles Shane McClellan and daughter Tiffany Denis McAfee.
Cheryl was an important figure in the medical field in Houston but her favorite job was being a Mom and saying "I love you higher than the Sky, deeper than the deep blue Sea and wider than the Whole Wide World."
She will be forever missed and so loved!
