Christine I. Camarillo, age 54, entered into rest on April 17, 2025 in Houston, Texas. She was born April 24, 1970 in Plainview, Town of Oyster Bay, New York to parents, Harry & RoseMarie Vicinanza (Centineo).
Christine graduated from Westhampton Beach High School, NY and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston. It was her brother, Mark, who introduced her to her future husband, Robert. After a five-year courtship, they were married on November 9, 1996. Christine enjoyed her career in Dietetics and Nutrition for 31 years. She was a member of the American Dietetic Association and had a passion for health, fitness, nutrition and family.
She loved animals, especially dogs. She had four special dogs in her life, Lucky, Pepper, Jack, and Bandit. She loved beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the beach, and enjoyed being outdoors, always in awe of God’s creation. She especially enjoyed beautiful weather for running, working out, feeling strong, and taking in all of nature. Christine was a faithful Christian and loved Jesus, never wavering from God’s plan.
Christine was always willing to help out, lending an ear and giving advice on health, nutrition, exercise and spiritual guidance. But above all on this earth, she cherished her husband, Robert, and adored and loved her sweet, beautiful daughters, Christiana and Katelyn. Much like her own mother, her children could do no wrong. She loved those two with every ounce of her heart and soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Vicinanza and RoseMarie Vicinanza.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Camarillo; daughters, Christiana & Katelyn Camarillo; brothers, Frank Vicinanza, Steven Vicinanza and wife Cheryl, Bill Vicinanza and wife Nancy, Mark Vicinanza and wife Mary; sister, Cynthia Sanders and husband, Chuck; as well as her mother-in-law, Lupe Brooks, brother/sister-in-laws, Jerry and Cindy Range, Jerry and Kathy White, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honoring Christine are, Steven Vicinanza, Bill Vicinanza, Mark Vicinanza, Jerry Range, Jerry White, and Jerry White Jr.
