Christine had a passion for gardening, singing, chanting, traveling, and reading Buddhist books. She also enjoyed donating to charity. Her family felt blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her, including to never pass up a good deal, to eat as if you’re “too skinny,” to live each day without regrets and to love as if there is no tomorrow.
Christine is survived by her husband, Cuong Chung; her sons, Ming Chung and Henry Chung; her daughter-in-law, Jessica Pak; and her granddaughter, Aria Chung.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tien Luu; her mother, Thi Dao Ma; and her brother-in-law, Phuoc Ma.
A Buddhist chanting session will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, located at 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX. A visitation for Christine will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
