Christopher was born March 22, 1981 in Houston, Texas to Esteban & Eugenia Hernandez.
His memory will be cherished by those who loved him; wife Perla Hernandez; daughter, Leah Hernandez, son, Elias Hernandez; siblings, Teresa Hernandez, Joe Hernandez, Connie Hernandez, Steve Hernandez, Consuelo Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, Luis Hernandez and numerous extended family members.
Chris was the kind of guy who was always ready to go—funny, outgoing, and always up for a good time. He loved sports, especially football, and was a proud Texans fan through and through. He also enjoyed gambling and never passed up a chance to try his luck.
Chris loved to barbecue and cook, and you could always find him behind the grill at family get-togethers, making sure everyone had a full plate.
But more than anything, he loved spending time with Perla and their kids. They enjoyed traveling together and making memories at places like the zoo, SeaWorld, Disney, and wherever else their adventures took them.
All services will be held, Monday, July 14, 2025 at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation for Christopher will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by the Committal Service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
