

The Widaski family is deeply saddened by the death of Christopher Kevin Widaski who passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 9, 1965, to Wilma and Floyd Widaski.
He attended Lamar High School in Houston, Texas, and worked as a mechanic for Ford for 41 years.
He loved playing golf, hunting, fishing, playing dominos, and all things NASCAR. In the past few years, his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rebecca; daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Brad; grandsons Logan and Connor; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Grace; brother David; sister and brother-in-law Colleen and Tony; and numerous nieces and nephews.
It was a life cut short all too soon. Chris will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his enthusiasm for his many hobbies, and his servant heart, but most of all, he will be remembered as a caring son, a loving husband, a beloved father, a doting grandfather, a steadfast friend, and a good man.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the rosary being recited at 7:00 pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George Street, Rosenberg, Texas, 77471, with the Rite of Committal immediately following. A reception will then be held at the Holy Rosary Parish Hall following the burial.
