Clair (Mac) L. MacPherson (78), of Richmond, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Mac spent 22 years proudly serving his country and retired from the United States Navy in 1969. After graduating from Linda Vista Bible College, he was ordained to preach the gospel at Otay Baptist Church in El Cajon, California. Mac spent the rest of his life serving the Lord. He retired from the ministry at Water Street Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas. Rev. MacPherson was preceeded in death by his first wife, Jimmie MacPherson and is survived by his wife Annette Axtell MacPherson. He has 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at River Bend Baptist Church, 27600 FM 1093, Fulshear, TX 77441.
