Claire Giordano, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, Feruary 15, 2012. She was born on October 25, 1923 in Cambridge, MA to Joseph Bennett and Mary Murphy. She was predeceased by husbands, Thomas E. Daly Jr., and Massimo A. Giordano, MD, and her son, Paul B. Daly. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Daly of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; her son, Jeffery E. Daly and wife Roseanna of Houston; and her sister, Frances B. Lopez of Lompoc, CA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Sean, Brian, and Rachel Daly, and two great grandchildren. Spirited, positive and thoughtfull, she will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
A service and social gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2 PM at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway. Memorials in her name may be made to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance, 8323 Southwest Freeway, Suite 435, Houston, TX 77074.
