

CLARA VERONICA BAUER FRAZIER, 80, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010. She was born in Arkansas City, Kansas on January 19, 1930 to Frederick and Fanora Bauer. She was raised in Cherryvale, Ks until the passing of her parents at age 9. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy in Wichita, Ks. After her graduation she moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she met her future husband, Carl Stephen Frazier. They were married on July 18, 1949 in Coffeyville and spent a full and happy 61 years together. During their life together, she lived in many places and did extensive traveling. She lived in Richardson, Tx, Randaberg, Norway and Evergreen Colorado before moving to Houston for health reasons.
Clara “Claravon” attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father as well as two brothers, John Frederick Bauer and Anthony Bauer and two sisters, Teresa Marie Sundbye and Joanne Bauer. She is survived by her husband, Carl Stephen Frazier of Legend Oaks Nursing Home; sons David Rae Frazier and companion Cheryl Price of Dallas, Tx., William Joseph “Bill” Frazier and wife Carol of Spring, Tx and Paul Stephen Frazier and wife Paula of Houston, Tx and daughter Carol Ann “Carolyn” Norton and husband Ricky of Houston,Tx; Clara’s grandchildren, Douglas Stephen Frazier and wife Jeni, Bryan Frederick Frazier and wife Diana, Gregory James Frazier and wife Cadi, Stephen James Frazier, William Stephen Norton and wife Christi, Vickie Renee Ellis and husband Dustin, Christopher Michael Norton and wife Shawna, Christina Marie Norton, Gabriel Alejandro Norton, Ryan William Frazier,and Reid Nathaniel Frazier; great grandchildren, Brett Frazier, Tye Frazier, Holt Frazier, Caitlin Michelle Norton, Billy Mack Mersereau III, Makayla Ward, Mika Ward, Toby Rae Norton, Kaylee Brianna Norton, Christopher Michael Norton Jr., William Frederick Norton, Chandler Michael Norton, Madison Veronica Webb. She is also survived by her brother, George Bauer of Midwest City, OK and a dear friend Sister Rosina Vanleeuwen of Sisters of St. Joseph in Wichita, KS; ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, the 2nd of December, 2010 at Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 fm 1960 W., Houston, Tx 77068 from six until nine o’clock in the evening with a Rosary to be recited seven o’clock in the evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at eleven o’clock in the morning on Friday, the third of December, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Her final resting place will be the Mission Memorial Mausoleum at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
