Clara M. Moore, 89 of Montgomery Texas, entered into rest on April 17, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 02, 1927. Clara graduated from Jeff Davis High School. She was married to Joe A. Moore Sr. for 64 ½ loving years. Clara owned a Plant Nursery by the name of Sheldon Garden & Nursery Supply. She had a passion for plants and flowers.
She was survived by her husband Joe A. Moore Sr., son Joe A. Moore Jr. and wife Betsy, daughter Debra K. Stafford and husband Jimmy, grandchildren; Stephanie Gray and husband Harrison, Jennifer Grosse and husband Brian, Keaton Stafford and wife Jamie, great grandchildren Ayden Gray, Oliver Gray, Alexis Grosse, Amelia Stafford, siblings; Marjorie Chapin, Edward Melcer, Mag Melcer, Ann Adlong.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00am at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77013 with a committal service to follow at 12:45 pm at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038
