Clarence J. "Jim" Shaw

Clarence J. “Jim” Shaw of Humble, Texas passed away on May 15, 2010. Jim loved life to its fullest, listening to music and spending quality time with his grandson Nicholas. Jim’s passion with life allowed him to dedicate time with the Shriners Hospitals for children as well as being a member of the Shrine. Jim is preceded in death by his son, Adrian Shaw, parents Clarence and Farrell Shaw, his sister and brother-in-law Louise and Bill Rayfield. Jim leaves behind a loving and devoted wife of 57 years Jean Shaw, his son James K. and Paula Shaw, daughter Lisa Jean Shaw, grandson Nicholas Shaw and his brother Adrian and June Shaw, sister Gayla and Hobert Johnson, uncle Erv and Doris Thurman and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim’s family would like for you to join them at his visitation of Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. in the Stephen F. Austin Room at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A service celebrating Jim’s life will be Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Peyman officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Nicholas Shaw. Concluding services Jim will be laid to rest at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Jim’s family would like for you to make memorial contributes to The Shriners Hospitals for children.
