Claudell W. Presnal

Claudell Watson Presnal, 91, passed away March 27,2017 in Weimar, TX. Born on January 31, 1926 in Baytown, TX to Claude and Addrin Watson and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, TX. She briefly attended Lee Junior College, Baytown, TX before working as a statistical typist for Tenneco. She would later go on to work as a Secretary/Bookkeeper for Presnal Engineering.

Claudell had a magnetic wit, a beautiful smile , and a presence that will be deeply missed. An avid and skilled gardener, a wonderful cook, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was warm and full of life. Whether it was a serious game of bridge, teaching a ballroom dance class with her husband, a trip to Thailand or Greece, or a long day in the sun at Surfside Beach with her grandchildren, she was surrounded by adoring friends and family.

Claudell was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Allister Lawrence Presnal, her sister, Haskell Pruett and brother-in law, Woodrow Pruett. Surviving is son Allister Lawrence Presnal, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Alvin, TX; daughter, Amy Morgan and hursband Russell of Weimar, TX; grandchildren, Russell Eugene Morgan, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Los Angeles, CA; Maxwell Allister Morgan, and wife Lauren of Houston, TX; Lindsey Jameyson and husband Chris of Liberty Hill, TX; Ashley Koenig, and husband Clint of Alvin, TX; great grandchildren, Lily Kylie, Abigail, Jaxon, Royal, Pearl, and Coral Lou; nephew Ronnie Latham Pruett and wife Kay of San Antonio, TX, and niece Marsha Carroll and husband J.T. of Dayton, TX.

receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2107 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
