

Claudette “Sue” Kingham went to be with her Lord on December 19th 2019. She was born on May 11th 1936 in Houston, Texas to parents James and Loula Morton. Sue was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, her brother Jim and his wife Joy. She is survived by twin sister Lou Lane, son Donald and his wife Roxane Kingham, son James and his wife Paula Kingham, nephew Gary Lane, nephew Greg and his wife Jackie Lane, grandchildren Kelley, Nick, Jordan, Nolan, Austin and Ashleigh, bonus grandchildren Greyson, Lauren and Jennifer and bonus great-grandchildren Alina, Jeraden, Ryland, Zailyn, and Abby.
Sue lived a life filled with love of God, family and sports. In her teens, Sue and Lou were bowling phenoms that were featured in newspapers and on television and known as “The Morton Twins”. She attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After marrying, she and Gordon spent countless hours watching their boys practice and play baseball, bowling in leagues and tournaments with her friends, and winning her share of trophies in singles, doubles and team events. More recently, she enjoyed watching and hearing about all of her grandchildren and their activities.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 am; with a funeral service at 10:00 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
