Claudia Rachel Bassard

She was the sweetest person I knew, She made sure everyone knew about Jesus and even through Covid, she never feared. Instead, she would lead the family in prayer. Each morning, she would wake up with lifted hands praying and thanking the Lord for another day and all His many blessings. She loved butterflies and loved to color.

Preceded in Death by Father: Curley J. Guidry Sr., Mother: Tee J Guidry; Husband: Ora Earl Bassard and Siblings: Bernice Glasper, Freda Arleen Guidry, Norman Trent Guidry and Curley Joseph Guidry Jr., Children: David Lloyd Bassard, Mark Steven Bassard, Phillip Martin Bassard, Jared Joseph Bassard.

Left to Cherish her Memory Sons: Ora Earl Bassard, Arthur Bassard, Paul Bassard, and Daughters: Shirley Sypert, Betitia Boscolo, Hillary Martin, Willette Harris and Tee Butler. As well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Siblings: Henry A. Guidry, Sr. Emile P. Guidry and Emily Guidry Humphrey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Claudia will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. Following the funeral service will be a committal from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Paradise North Cemetery.
