He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1968-1972. He moved to Houston, Texas in 1972 and worked at NASA for 39 years where he met and married his wife, Deborah Lockhart. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, his son Christopher, wife Andiana and 3 grandchildren Matthew, Oscar and Christopher Jr. He is also survived by his Aunt Evangelina Garcia of New Mexico, Aunt Irene and Uncle Joe Garcia, his step-mother Kathy Fowlkes, his mother-in-law June Lockhart, his half brother, Larry and numerous in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He is loved by many and will be very much missed.

The viewing will be at the American Heritage Funeral Home at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, TX 77038 Thursday Sept. 8, from 10-12pm, followed by the service at 12:15 and burial at 1:15 in the Veteran’s Cemetery.
