Clifton Henri Blais left this world to be with his heavenly father on January 17th, 2022. Let us not mourn his untimely passing but rather rejoice at a life well lived. Henri was born October 1st, 1953 in Houston, TX to parents Sam and Lori Blais. He was the youngest of 3 boys and always looked up to his older brothers. Henri met Bridget Jolly at Sam Houston High School, and they were married shortly after graduating on October 27th,1973. Their daughter was born in 1980, and their son was born in 1989. Henri made his living as an electrician working with the local IBEW union for his entire career. Henri devoted his life to sharing God’s love to young people. He had a passion for youth ministry that began at Lakewood Church and carried on throughout his life as he moved on to other church families over the years. Other things that he enjoyed and cared about in addition to church activities were traveling, being out in nature, and photographing the beauty of God’s creation and the special people in it. He never met a stranger and could talk and joke with anyone about anything or nothing at all for hours. Henri treasured his friends and family. In his later years, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his 3 granddaughters. His life and words of encouragement have impacted so many people while he was here on this Earth, and he will be remembered and deeply missed.
Clifton Henri Blais is preceded in death by his father Sam Blais and mother Lori Reyes. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Bridget Blais; daughter Stephanie Sifuentes and husband Richie and granddaughters Sage and Hazel; son Michael Blais and wife Annyssa and daughter Naomi; brother Michael Blais and wife Patricia; brother James Blais and wife Sue; and countless other friends, family and friends who have become family.
