Clifton Honeycutt

Clifton Honeycutt, 84 of Houston, TX passed away on July 10, 2022 at home with his family at his side, after a three-year battle with cancer. He was born on the 4th August 1937 in Bellwood, Louisiana to Zella and Frank Honeycutt.

Cliff graduated from William Adams High School in 1956, Alice Texas, attended Texas A & M Kingsville and University of Houston. Retired from CenterPoint Energy in 1999 after thirty years of service as the Manager of the Claims department.

He married Angelica Balderas on May 2, 1987. The family, along with many friends, has lost a wonderful human being. His passions were researching family genealogy, collecting coins, playing his guitar, travel and yard work. His sense of humor and love of life will be greatly missed. Cliff was one-of-a-kind gentleman.

Cliff was preceded in death by his father, Frank and his mother, Zella. He will be greatly missed by his wife Angelica, son Scott (Pat), son Greg, granddaughter Amber (Al) Almaguer, grandson Gregory (Kristi) Honeycutt, granddaughters Robyn, Shelby and Christina Honeycutt. Great Grandchildren Noah, Kory, Jonah Honeycutt, Grace Almaguer and JJ Alfaro; and his sister Elouise McElroy.

A visitation for Clifton will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
