Clivy,
You were the Perfect Father-In-Law ... always asking what's happening ... always listening ... always concerned ... always asking about what I was up to!  The fish, the game, the greens, the ATV's, & the tool boxes will miss you as much as all of us!  Don't worry ... I will love & take care of Debbie until the END ... someday I will play cards or dominoes with you again in Heaven!!

Paw Paw,
I remember growing up as a young kid spending all kinds of time together like you were my best friend.  We used to go up to the lake & go camping & setting up catfish lines to catch fish for dinner & have a fish fry ... YUM was that good!  We used to prepare & gut the fish together.  Every time you would go out on the boat, I would beg to come with you.  I used to have so much fun spending time watching old westerns & we would always buy fireworks around the 4th of July & you would pop them off with me.  I'm so blessed to have you as my Grandfather.  I learned a lot of useful things from you in my lifetime.  I'm so thankful for all the love & support you have drowned me with throughout our lives.  I have had so many good times with you, Paw Paw, & none of them will be forgotten.  As a gift in your memory, which you have prayed for years, I am going to turn my life around & do good for myself the rest of my life.  You will be looking down from Heaven praying for me & it is greatly appreciated.  I love you more than words can explain.

You always wanted to Watch Astros Baseball and Play Golf when you weren't working very hard or doing a project at the house. You were always so welcoming when I would come visit. Uncle Clivy was a wonderful man who loved his family and loved to fish.  We had great times with him at the lake and the guys have great memories of fishing with him.  Of course I remember the time Bobby and I were bailing water out of Uncle Clivy's boat - trying to get it out before he saw it!  We failed at our mission - if you could have seen his face, with his mouth hanging open.  I left on that note - Bobby did it anyway!
Uncle Clivy will be missed by all who knew him but we will see you again!  I know Grandma was waiting at the gates when he came in!

Paw paw, although I was only able to spend a weekend with you, that's all it would take for me to see what a joyful and funny man you were. Seeing you at home, you were content with watching TV and talking sports with Ryan but when we got to Brittney's wedding you really showed how much you loved life. You were smiling, laughing and watching your wife dance.Even you were wiggling in your chair! It was a beautiful moment for me to see who you were. Your family loves you, I love you, you will be missed.

Dad, it was fun reflecting back on the last times fishing & camping, ATV'ing, golfing with you.  I know how much you loved being the outdoor adventurist (I got that from you!) - I know you would have done all the things you loved so much further into your years had you not lost your sight.  Now you are out of pain & can see once again!  I know you are dancing in heaven with Grandma!  Love you very much, Daddy, and will miss you a lot!  See you in Heaven.  Until we meet again!

To the Phillips Family ... you have my deepest sympathy on your great loss! Only those who have lost loved ones know exactly what is felt deep in your heart! The consolation that we have is that now Clyde is in better hands than we are. Having paid the debt that we all owe, he is now in line for a second chance in a much better world! Clyde was my first boss at Hudson and the best that person that I have ever worked for to this day! He will be missed, but we look forward to the day when we can welcome him back with open arms!

Pop,   My best times were with you fishing, hunting, golfing and enjoying each other's company building things and playing cards and dominos.  That's what I'll miss the most, knowing we will never be able to enjoy planning our day over an early morning cup of coffee.
