Derek and I have been friends for over 20 years and Mr. Adams always treated me like family. We ate a lot of great meals and shared a lot of laughs together. He was a great man and the world lost an incredible human being. RIP Mr Adams.

Not only was Sonny the most handsome guy in the class of 1969 he also drove the coolest car.
I remember him yelling as he ran up the stairs from the gym to the library after we received our Ashford High School diplomas.
He will be missed by everyone and especially by the class of ‘69.

Molly I was always the little sister of one of Sonny's classmates, friends and teammates. Then in 1977 Lucy gave me an opportunity to work at Ashford Gin Co. Sonny was such a hard working man and a man that loved his family. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family....Gloria
