Colin Eric Brown

Colin was the oldest son of George and Freda Brown.   He was born March 4, 1948 in Toronto, Canada and became a US Citizen in 1957.  He grew up in the Aldine area and enjoyed sports and boy scouts.   In boy scouts he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, also Colin was awarded the God and Country Award. Colin played baseball and football and lettered two years varsity as a pitcher.  He graduated from Aldine High in 1966. He attended the University of Texas before deciding to enlist in the army in 1968. He served an extended tour in Vietnam. He later re-enlisted in the Army in 1974 but received a medical discharge in 1975. He was a kind and generous person who always kept his faith in God. He was preceded in death by his father George Brown in 2012.  He is survived by his Mother, Freda, his brother Paul and his wife Debbie, sister Shirley Cusack and husband Joe, five nephews, one niece, and eight great nephews and nieces.     We will cherish our memories of our life growing up with Colin.
