

Concepcion Ibarra, was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on July 8, 1915 having received her citizenship in the United States in 1952. Her life was one of commitment and discipline and service to the Lord. Her commitment to Ignacio, her deceased husband of 66 years. Her discipline was evident in her life and work in Nacio's restaurant which they proudly owned. "Concha" leaves her daughter, Celeste Rangel and husband Jacob.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters and one great-great-great grandchild.
She was deeply affectionate and unselfishly generous. She would give and give and give all she could especially her time, attention, laughter and unconditional love. She would not mince words and we will miss her laughter and life lessons that taught us all to survive well. Her life will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 9:00am at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive at Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77055 where she will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to Houston Hispanic Forum, 4635 Southwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77027 to fund education.
