She accepted the offer.
Born in Flint, Michigan, on June 25, 1948, Connie— as she liked to be called—had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. God used her to touch the lives of everyone she met. She was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her.
Connie especially cherished time with her granddaughters, who brought a smile to her lips and love to her heart. She also enjoyed crafting with friends in her 'she-shed' in the Creekside subdivision of Onalaska, Texas. Time spent with her lady friends—chatting, playing cards or dominoes, and sharing stories—was something she truly treasured.
We hold on to the sweet memories God provided us and the ways He worked through her to help us grow. May these memories fill us with comfort during the sorrows of her passing.
Because of Jesus Christ and who He is and His faithfulness, we will see her again.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
