Grandma I still continue to miss you everyday that passes. I’ll never forget your chirping birds in the Houston house, you constantly reminding me of my beauty & your beautiful China dolls you’d always gift me with. Your radiance is missed & I forever wish I had more time to spend with you. You’d be so proud of all of the things I’ve accomplished so far & I know you & grandpa are up in heaven cheering me on. Grandma, I will always cherish the precious moments I had with you. You were such an inspiration to me and will always live forever in my heart. I still can't believe you are no longer with us. The fact that I can no longer hear your voice, hear your laughter, hug you and give you kisses hurts my heart tremendously but knowing you are no longer in pain, you're stress free, and you are with our Lord puts me at ease and makes me happy. Ama, Pretty Lady:  you were an extraordinary strong, loving, hardworking, happy, beautiful woman. You enjoyed your life to the fullest, letting no one stand in your way of your happiness. At such a young age you because a woman, married and with a large family of 8.  Through it all you taught yourself to love, care and protect your family. Your carried such a great pride in knowing you did well in raising your family and was proud of each and every one of us.  You left me with so many great qualities, memories and upbringing that I will always appreciate and remember you for.  Your way of raising me help me raise my children in the only way I knew how and that was with a strong hand but loving heart.  Whenever am told that I look like you its more than a complement because I knew everything you stood for.  I look back at your life and I could honestly say I am not strong enough to handle all that came your way. I use to question are upbringing a lot and now as an adult I thank you for every hair pulling, screaming, and pinches I received as that was the only way you knew how to discipline, and we all grew up to be pretty great kids who know how to love ourselves our families and friends, laugh, are happy and are very close because of You and Dad. Thank you for not being afraid to say I LOVE You! For telling me daily how important I was to you, for loving my husband (David) and my kids (Stephanie, Melissa, Michelle and Zach) for accepting (Waleska & Natalie) as your step grandchildren and always showing us that you did love us. Pretty Lady you leave a BIG hole in my heart but knowing that your pain, suffering, heartache, worries and all you illness will no longer be felt, it gives me great pleasure to know you are now in a better place, a place you deserve for serving the Lord. To Gods new angel: I can still hear grandpa's cry, the sorrow I saw in his eyes. The love he has for his wife, are words that I cant describe. Knowing his love is gone, oh grandpa please be strong. Your mother's presence will be greatly missed leaving a void, but blessed to be filled with the love and memories she has left us to treasure. Dear Grandma we laid your body to rest, I want you to know that you were cared for and loved very much. You leave us with so many good memories that were all good times, you are with God now, I know you will continue to protect us all I love you so much and you will be forever in my heart. My beautiful grandma.  Being born into this family is one of God's greatest blessings in my life.
I have shared so many wonderful memories with both you and grandpa, my aunts, uncles and cousins & family.
I've always heard the saying “All because two people have feel in love” and we are living proof of that saying.
You and Grandpa have built a strong foundation with your children, that has been passed on to your grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
So I want to take this time to say thank you!  I cry because I miss you, but the peace in my heart knowing you are finally rejoicing with our heavenly father is enough to make me smile!

My memory of aunt Consuelo was whenever they came to McAllen and came to visit us at home from the first moment the door opened my mom and aunt Consuelo were like little kids holding,dancing and laughing around the room for what looked like hours.  To say that they were happy to see each other is an understatement!  I can see them now in heaven holding and dancing and laughing once again.  She will be missed greatly by all of us. may God be with you all at this time of need.

Our heart and prayers goes out to the entire family. She was such a treasure to the family. Cannot forget that big smile of hers. I will always remember our last visit, which was on the Metro bus, truly enjoyed it. Always remember, that she lived a full life, she was able to see her children grow up to be wonderful adults,see her grandchildren being born and was able to enjoy them. Treasure those wonderful memories. She will always be with you in spirit.  May God keep you in his embrace at this difficult time.

Mother, you look beautiful! God's children are blessed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, but we as humans can only grasp a small portion of His love. However, at the end of your worldly journey I was able to see the FULL Holy Spirit in you - your body GLOWED with a radiating light and it was glorious to be in awe of your beauty. It was like a wilted flower that magically bloomed again before my eyes, a sight I will never forget. I will always treasure your gift to me: your presence, your unconditional love, and the Christian example you lived.  Lots of Love Lydia, Gilbert and Family.

Your mother was like a second mother to me and she will be truly missed. Most of my life was spent in close contact with her and the news of her passing brought a flood of beautiful memories back to me. I have been able to witness the most beautiful unconditional friendship between two women that I have ever known. They lifted each other up in sad times and rejoiced with each other in happy times. They would share secrets for hours. I will miss her laughter and the scent of Lauren perfume when she walked into the room.  She was a Queen and I admired her for it. She was a wonderful role model and I thank her for her generous and unconditional love. Please accept our most sincere condolences.

Your mom was such a beautiful woman, I have many wonderful memories of her as I grew up. She was such a pleasure to have around. I will remember her always, I love you all and I'm truly sorry for your loss.
