Consuelo C. Rivera

Consuelo is survived by her 5 children, Sandra Luna of Houston, Tx, Sabrenda Garcia of Houston, Tx, Liza DeLaCruz of Houston, Tx, Anthony Moreno of Galveston, Tx, and Tony Cervantes of Vidor, Tx. Her 14 grandchildren, Robert Naranjo, Thomas Naranjo, Michael Naranjo, Felix Martinez Jr, Connie Martinez, Larry Garcia Jr, Alyssa Garcia, Mark Moreno, Ernest Moreno, Samantha DeLaCruz, Liza DeLaCruz, Sabas DeLaCruz, Ernest Moreno Jr, and Jordan Cervantes. Her 17 great-grand children, Isaac Naranjo, Thomas Naranjo Jr, Kensy-Kay Naranjo, Katelynn Naranjo, Michael Jordan, Aleah Garcia, Willie De Ochoa, Sarah De Ochoa, Alicia De Ochoa, Raymomd De Ochoa, Isabella De Ochoa, and Baby Nguyen. Also by her sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Gomez, Ida Miles, Manuel Hernandez, Shirley Vazquez, Narcisso (Nacho) Hernandez, and Clotida (Cleo) Campbell.

Comsuelo was proceeded in death by both of her parents, her husband Richard Rivera, 2 children Ernest and Henry Moreno and 1 brother Robert Hernandez.

Consuelo was born on November 14, 1946 in Houston, Tx to Narcisso Hernandez and Clotida Sanchez Hernandez. After living in Houston and working at NASA for many years consuelo retired and moved to Galveston, Tx to be near the water, which she loved so much. It wasn't until she became ill that she returned to Houston and spent the last two years of her life.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016.
