Cora Alma Whaley

Cora Alma Whaley, 89, born June 17, 1925 in Sugar Creek, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest December 29, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Cora was a member of Heights Presbyterian Church; retired from banking; her favorite interests were bowling with her precious husband; gardening, and being involved in her Civic Club. Cora is preceded in death by her loving husband, James W. Whaley; daughter, Kathy Lee Bellamy and her granddaughter, Karen Denise Zahn. Left to cherish her precious memories: daughters: Barbara Myers (Terry), Connie Zahn (Floyd), Cheryl Norris (Carey); grandchildren: Cindy Petrash (Paul), Suzy Cisne (Al), Rick Myers (Kimberly), Lisa Martinez (Jerry), Floyd Zahn Jr (Jaci), James Bellamy, Ryan Norris and Lauren Green (Dustin); great grandchildren: Kirk and Margeaux Petrash, Kirby and Jared Cisne, Clayton and MaKayla Myers, Amber and Alana Martinez, Elizabeth and Andrew Zahn and Adler Green. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, from 1-4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 2 at the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heights Presbyterian Church.
