I had the privilege of knowing and working with Cordell for many years.  He was always a gentleman and his knowledge was transcending.  My condolences to Doris, Chris and his entire family.  He will be greatly missed.

Dear St. Cyr family,
I'd like to offer my condolences to all of you and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.   I pray for comfort as you grieve the loss of such a dear father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather.  As I am a close friend of yours, I also feel as if a part of your dear family.   

Cordell leaves behind a legacy which will continue for years and years to come.  He will be truly missed by many.  May you find comfort and peace from the Lord.

Cordell was a deep inspiration to me with his passion for missionary work. He was a true gentleman, Christian and a true friend. Among his many qualities that I admired were his faith and generosity. He will be forever missed.
Prayers to Doris and family.

Cordell is legendary.  Humanitarian to our friends down south but he has impacted a lot to more people then he knows. I respect this greatly known engineer as he taught me more about life than turbines. I think him for going to Mass with me during my wife's pregnancy and after Mass our conservations at the Flying Saucer. Always kept the work environment upbeat, a true gentleman who's stories are classified Legendary.  If I have to walk in this hot southern Texas heat to pay homage, I will be there

We have known him in 30 years. He is a good friend and good co-worker. He will be missed.

Suzi, our sincere condolences to you and your family. You spoke fondly of your father and his love for your mother, his accomplishments and his joys of life. He sounded like a special and loved person. We are sorry for your loss.

Cordell was a great brother-in-law. He was always so funny. He also taught us to love Cajun food. He is greatly missed by his PA in laws.

So sorry for your loss, Jackie and Tina. Losing a parent is such a hard life experience. We all have to do it but it's such a wrenching thing. My thoughts are with you both.

Cordell taught me so much on how to be a true missionary to the children of God. Missions were not complete until I could joke with Cordell, and yes, he could dish it back. Will be forever missed.

Always thankful to Doris and Cordell for the dinner invitations, kind words, and encouragement when I needed it.

I worked many years with Cordell and work with his son Chris now. He taught me allot about engineering and how to be a character. I know his family will miss him greatly. And the work he did through MMDM have helped allot of people.

God was and is with Cordell as he fulfilled his mission that he was sent to earth to  accomplish. 
I only know him through K of C but whenever he was present at the meetings no one could miss his glow among others. 
He was a leader who not only helped the locals but also those in need in other countries.

I only met him and visited with him a couple of times and from my conversations with him, I immediately fell in love with him and his love for his Catholic faith. He was a great man from an era that we will never find anymore..... and will be greatly missed!

Such great sorrow in the loss of a big hearted, giving friend. We are praying that the Lord carry Doris and her children through this most difficult time. The angels are surrounding him in peace and the pure light of heaven. We will miss seeing our friend at mass each week, even in his last days. Our love and prayers to all the family.

God speed your way to Heaven Daddy! Thank you for teaching me to be honest, to love, to care for those less fortunate, to stay close to family, to say thank you, to love God and give when I could! I blame you for me being a good person with compassion for others. I blame you for my success in my business. I blame you for my strong will to never give up on my dreams and I blame you for me having rhythm on the drums!  Thank you for being proud of me and for our recent time and talks together. 

As a hugged you goodbye last Sunday I thought that it might be the last time and I prayed for you to have peace in your remaining days. I let the feeling of the love flow through us and savored the moment.

My sincerest condolences to Doris and the entire family. My hearts breaks for your loss. Cordell's gracious and giving spirit touched so many lives.

I did not know him. I used to be Randy's neighbor. I've read so many wonderful tribute to him on social media.  Now I know why Randy was such a great neighbor and a "salt of the earth" kind of person. The apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree when it came to genetics. Thank you for making him such a great man.

Dad, I will miss you more than i can express. We wanted more time with you but we know you are now at peace. I will forever strive to be the father to my children that you were to us.

I can't begin to put into words what Cordell meant to me!  He was my mentor, but more than that he was a wonderful friend!  He had a heart as big as the sky.  He will be greatly missed here on this earth, but is with his Savior now!  My prayers are with the St.Cyr family.

Dad taught me the value of close family connections despite our own agendas. That the strength of the whole will carry you and to be kind always.

Cordell inspired so many people to follow their hearts and give of their time to help those in need. He touched so many souls with his passion for missionary work.  My prayers go out to Doris St. Cyr and to the extended St. Cyr family from Louisiana to Texas and beyond.

Cordell will be missed greatly.  We know that he is at peace and will greet us with our Lord one day.
