

On September 5, 1964, Cortrina Marie Goffney was born to the union of Myrtle and Aubie Goffney. Cortrina was called "Trina" by family and friends. Trina accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
Trina attended Wesley Elementary School. She then attended Waltrip High School where she received her High School Diploma.
Trina was employed by the City of Houston as a Jailer. Later she was employed at Grocer Supply for a number of years, Trina had such a kind and loving heart. She decided to become a foster parent. She fostered for several years. During her course of fostering, she was given a sibling group of 4 children.
Trina fell in love and adopted all 4 children, know as Empress, Dedrick, Paoshan, and Jerimiah. Trina later became an Uber driver, which allowed more time with her children.
Trina was a true outdoors young lady that invested in cattle and property in New Waverly Texas.. Trina also raised chickens and loved fishing.
Trina leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Goffney. Three sister, Sharon Thomas, Audry Goffney, and Chantell Bryant. Five brothers, Reginald Goffney (Debbie), Wilbur Thomas, Obie Goffney, Issac Goffney (Vanilla) and Ronnie Goffney. Two Daughters, Empress Goffney, Paoshan Goffney. Two sons, Dedrick Goffney, Jerimiah Goffney. Three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
