Cristino “Tato” Melendez, 76, of Houston, Tx went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2017 in Watauga, Tx. He was born December 5, 1940 in Carolina, Puerto Rico, to Antonio Melendez and Antonia Jimenez Melendez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarita “Margie” Martinez Melendez, father, Antonio Melendez and sister, Josefina “Pepa” Melendez. He is survived by his mother, Antonia Melendez, daughters, Sheila Christine Melendez, Laura Margarita Melendez Hardee (Ken), Jannina Maria Melendez (Rick), Grace Ann Melendez Garza (John), 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017, 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Garden Oaks Funeral Home, 13430 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, Tx. 77083.
