Cynthia Sanchez Martinez

Cynthia Sanchez Martinez, 62, of Houston, TX, passed away on May 05, 2026. She was born in Houston, TX, on July 22, 1963, to George and Esther Sanchez. She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. Cynthia was married to Manuel Martinez for 30 years. She worked in the medical field as an office manager until 2013. Outside of work, Cynthia was creative and took up several crafty projects. She enjoyed scrapbooking, tablescapes, bow making, home interior decorating, and creating tasty drinks. Cynthia had a sweet tooth and loved to bake. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her dog Zoey.

Cynthia will be remembered as a loving parent, sibling, and friend whose presence touched many lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Sanchez, her nephew Joel Marbut and her mother, Esther Sanchez.

She is survived by her daughter Erica Sanchez, stepdaughter Brooklyn Martinez, her brother Carlos Sanchez, (Nancy Gilbert) and nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Sanchez, Carlos G. Sanchez, and Ian Sanchez.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, US, on May 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, US, on May 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Burial Service will follow at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009, US, on May 13, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
