Mrs.  Ogoe was a valuable volunteer and a supportive parent while I was principal in Alief.  She was so proud of her sons and would always talk about them.  My prayers of comfort go out to the family.  

My deepest condolences to the family.  Cynthia my friend my coworker my buddy for the year in Family Engagement Centers I will miss you dearly but I know you are with the most High our Lord our Saviour. I always said to you that you are truly a role model for me on how to be a beautiful mother & wife a sweet mother in law a good coworker a good civilian , you always carried yourself at your best & let know things would be alright in the end, I enjoyed our conversations & your laugh, thank you for being my friend my coworker my buddy for the year for sharing laughs & ideas & your love  💜

Dear Queen Cynthia, I met you one dark Houston morning walking my baby Terry to daycare before catching a bus to work..you offered me a ride you said, My name is Cynthia, our babies (Terry & Albert) attend the same daycare, let me help you" then she introduced me to Dada & the whole Ogoe Dynasty!!!The rest is Cynthia &Versie history!!!I love you forever Woman of God best Mom, friend, confidant, I'll miss your wisdom, smile, and comedy, God we laffed a lot!!! Ms Ogoe was one of, if not the most amazingly kind hearted woman I have ever met. I was going through a lot when I met her. She didn't judge me she just wanted to help figure out how to help my situation as she did with many others. I am a better person and mother because of the compassion this woman has for her community. I will never eat or make a scone again with thinking about how every time I brought her a batch she would eat 2 and the next day say that's all she got because her son would eat them all. She will truly be missed. 

Ms. Ogoe will definitely be missed! She was very helpful and collaborated with me for our parents who were new to the country, and especially for our Afghan refugee families. They really loved and appreciated all the help that she provided them. She showed up everyday to help others. She was a very determined lady and driven lady. She loved her family and spoke about God with great passion and conviction! She will be missed indeed! To her family-I'm sorry for your loss. The pictures show the love you guys have for one another and that she lived a FULL LIFE!!!!

Aunty  Cynthia, love you but the Lord love you most. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. You are in the best place where there is no pain or sorrow  but peace and joy.

Ms. Cynthia has been one of the sweetest ladies ever since I found PCC. She would always welcome me with open arms and that huge smile of hers. The support she gave me to continue doing school and to continue striving in life cannot be counted on both my hands. My heart hurts, truly. Missing her words of wisdom. I am Very sorry for your Loss!  Cynthia was a kind Soul & she was always kind & loving toward me. She & Lisha babysat me when we lived in Lake Charles.  It has  been over 30 yrs. You texted this to me on October 10 not knowing you will soon leave.  So many memories, everyday still stings especially on my lunch breaks or drive home when I remember we would talk over the phone. I have to distract myself so I wouldn't cry a river (like now as I write); our regular dinners. You're more than a friend to me, you are like a blood sister. I consider your sons my own. You're the only friend I was so close to that you know my hurts and pain. Who will I go out with now, who will I call or text? You would tell me you love me and you miss me. I know you were missing me when you texted me this picture of us. I joked about us being roommates in a senior facility, so this certainly was not in the plan my dearest friend and sister! But who am I to decide when you'll go home? It just makes it a little easier knowing wow! you are in the best retirement place now. I still talk to you on my way home, at work, wherever I miss you and will always do because I will never forget you. Dang I miss your laugh, the way you say 'ooohhh' like a little girl, your big and warm hug!  I miss you so much! You didn't even tell me goodbye! But I know you're dancing without any pain with our Heavenly Father now. Till we see each other again. I love you.

Mama Ogoe, this loss is devastating. The first day I met you, we went out to eat and spent the entire afternoon talking. You ended our conversation by saying, “I truly believe God sent you to our family”. You told me you knew how important family is to me, and not having my mommy near, in Texas, was really hard for me - You wanted to be my mama in Texas. You truly cared for me as a mother does her children. You celebrated me. You reassured me. You checked on me. You consoled me. You fed me. You prayed for me. You kept it real with me. And so much more. Your beautiful men you raised are truly world-impacters because of the diligence you had. You loved the Lord with every fiber of your being - And this is why you had such deep, powerful, meaningful, life-changing impact on the multitudes. You were a true servant - Exactly what Jesus calls us to be. You served family, friends, entire communities, churches, and strangers literally until the day you departed earth to return Home. In this world plastered with evil… We thank God for bright lights like you. I wish your sons got to dance with you at their wedding. I wish more grandchildren got to meet you. You were EVERYTHING to your boys. Everything. But one thing I know… Now, you can work with God in a whole different way to protect & provide for your children & their families. Thank you for loving me like a daughter. You emphasized, “You are my baby girl til death do us part”, and you never let me forget it. I love you, in a deep part of my soul. Oh Cynthia, I will miss you dearly. You truely touched my life. You were so much more than a “stranger” friend.  You will be missed so much 

My condolences to you guys on the loss of your mother and wife to Albert.  Cynthia & I went to school together, same classes and schools for 12 straight years.  It was such a shock to hear of her demise.  She was my best friend throughout our school years and we kept in touch throughout our years living in Houston.  She will be missed.
