

Cynthia von Tesmar, a beacon of light for the Fort Bend County Community through her continued support and advocacy of the local nonprofits and schools, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday the 1st of December 2010.
In the morning you could see Cynthia distributing backpacks to local schools and in the afternoon planning an event for the Fort Bend County Women’s Center, where she was a past board member and past President. She made a great impact on so many at Flour Corporation, where she worked for 22 years. Cynthia will be sorely and deeply missed.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, the late Charles von Tesmar. Her survivors include her husband, Henry Osorno; her mother, Elizabeth Royalty von Tesmar; her brothers, Jim von Tesmar and Robby von Tesmar; her sister, Nancy Watson; niece, Nicole Watson; nephew, Jensen Watson; and her step-son, Colby Osorno.
The Memorial Service is to be conducted at half-past two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 4th of December, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that contributions in Cynthia’s memory be directed to the Fort Bend County Women’s Center, P. O. Box 183, Richmond, TX 77406.
