It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dai Truong, who departed this life on July 27, 2025 at the age of 98. After 22 years, she is reunited with her late husband, Vi Hua, who passed in March of 2003.
Dai was the heart and matriarch of our family a woman of unwavering strength, compassion for others, and boundless love. Her legacy lives on in her four devoted children, her 13 grandchildren, and her 11 great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward with pride and gratitude.
She will be remembered for her love for sweets and ice cream, her warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence. Her life was one of kindness, resilience, and sacrifice and devotion to her family.
While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well lived and a soul deeply loved. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, just as it always has.
A memorial service will be held at The Chapel of Eternal Peace, located at 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077, on August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
The committal will immediately follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, on August 23, 2025, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
