Daisy George

Daisy was a 1966 graduate of Carter G. Woodson High School in Haynesville, Louisiana. She performed with the school band playing the trumpet, she also performed as majorette.

Daisy had a deep mental concern about her responsibilities and she wouldn’t allow any interruption from any source. She was never quick to rush to a conclusive answer.

Daisy was remarkably neat and she had unbelievable organization skills. Her personality would light up a room. Anytime she was seen in public she was always well kept and presentable, this was very important to her.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ora Lee Jacobs; son, Andrea Turner.

Daisy leaves behind her loving husband, Evan George; sons, Terrance Turner and Christopher Raymon Smith; grandchildren, Jasmine Dowe, Kiara Turner, Donovan Turner, Tykius Turner, Czarion Turner and Talea Turner; brothers, James Jacobs (Angela) and Elroy Jacobs (Cheryl) and sister, Willie Mae Jacobs all of Houston, TX; sister, Cheryl Leach (Sonny) of New Haven, CT and Linda Faye Curry of Haynesville, LA.

Daisy will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten.
