Daisy Elizabeth Rosario, beloved wife, loving mother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep during the early hours of July 15, 2025, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her family, after a sudden battle with lung cancer.
Born in Nicaragua, Daisy immigrated to the United States as a young girl and built a life full of adventure, heart, and color. She touched lives up and down the East Coast and throughout Texas, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Anyone who knew Daisy will remember her bright smile, bold fashion, and vibrant spirit. She loved her lashes long, her nails just right, and her world full of fashion statements. Whether it was butterflies or Christmas lights, she found joy in decorating both her home and the school bus she drove. Daisy had a deep love for the holidays, and she brought celebration with her wherever she went.
A proud Harley-Davidson fan, Daisy was always ready for a good time with her friends and family. She lived with fierce joy, and even in her final days, she asked to be remembered not for the sadness of her passing, but for her laughter, her spark, and her feistiness (and a glass of wine!).
Daisy is survived by her loving husband, Edwin “Pito” Rosario, and her cherished Yorkie, China. She also leaves behind her daughter, Shannon, her son-in-law Anthony, and their dogs, Sadie and Maru. She is also survived by her son, Aaron, his wife Serena, and their cat, Mochi.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Houston on August 22, 2025. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
