Dale Edward Davis, age 59, of Cypress Texas passed away tragically on January 22, 2022 after a car accident. Dale was born on February 3, 1962 to Harry and Darlene Davis in San Antonio, Texas. He moved to Houston with his family when he was about 12 years old. Dale graduated from Spring Woods Senior High in 1982 and went on to Texas State Technical College in Waco and graduated in 1985. He proudly worked as a Voice Services Operations Lead for CenterPoint Energy for the last 36 years.
Dale married his loving wife Le’Anna in 2001 and had three beautiful children, Perry age 17, Nora age 15 and Ivan age 12. In addition to supporting his children in their many activities Dale loved to spend time at Lake L.B.J. Dale was so happy to take his children, friends, nieces and nephews wakeboarding behind his boat. Some of Dale’s favorite things to do besides wakeboarding on Lake L.B.J. were to go dirt bike riding with his brother Harry Davis III, watch football with his dad or go camping with his family. Dale stayed very active running, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and just about anything his children needed him to do. When his children were younger, he volunteered as a Den Leader Cub Scout for pack 33 where he helped with the Derby Car races among other activities. Dale graduated Discover Leadership Master Graduate Leadership Program and Heart of a Samurai. After graduating the program, he was very happy to volunteer his time at Running Cougar Ranch. Dale truly believed that you get what you focus on, “WAYFO” (what are you focused on).
Dale was a loving husband, son, brother, cousin, uncle, father, friend and only wanted the very best for everyone he loved. Dale was known for his willingness to help others, love for his family and his faith. His neighbors often came to him for help and advice as Dale was knowledgeable about the ins and outs of home repair.
Dale was a long-time parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Davis and sister Karen Livesay. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Le’Anna and their three children Perry, Nora and Ivan, his father, Harry Davis, Jr., brother Harry Davis III, sister Diane Gray, sister Patricia Mitchell, sister Brenda Allen, their spouses and by many nieces and nephews.
