

Denny was born in Fremont, Ohio to the late Merle and Hazel “Gay” Holcomb on March 9, 1957. He graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1975. He was previously married to Amy Holcomb on July 24, 1976 in Gibsonburg, Ohio. He worked as a technician at Pfizer/Minerals Technologies for 30 years. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed carpentry but most importantly, he was passionate about his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed helping others and was always quick to help anyone with a smile on his face.
His family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Denny's favorite niece, Regina Maynard and his loving sister, Amy Lanning for never leaving his side during his final days. His children and grandchildren will never be able to thank them enough for the love and care that they provided to all of us.
Denny is preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, “Granny Smith.” He is survived by his former spouse Amy Holcomb; his children Brady (Liselle) Holcomb, Nicholas Holcomb, Nathan (Michelle) Holcomb, and Kara Holcomb; grandchildren Dylan Holcomb, Nicholas Holcomb, Mason Holcomb, Allie Oyewale, Aaron Holcomb, Matthew Holcomb, Tayden Oyewale, Milo Holcomb, and Scarlett Oyewale; siblings Douglas (Janell) Holcomb, Jeff (Linda) Holcomb, and Amy Lanning. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
