Master Damien Christopher Charles II

Damien Christopher Charles II gained his wings on May 19, 2025. He was born December 11, 2024 to Damien and Veronica Charles. He was the youngest child of 3, leaving behind his older sisters, Madeline Khan and Amauri Charles. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas.

Damien "D2" was a handsome, silly and strong baby. He was born at home, 21 inches tall, weighing 8lb and 8oz at 05:49 am. He loved to play with his sisters and cousins, chew on his teething toys and wrestle with his stuffed animals and Dad. You could always find him feeding and snuggled under his mom's bosom or napping on his Dad's chest. His favorite song was "Boots on the ground", and he generally loved zydeco music. He also enjoyed watching "Annie the Musical", Madea's Big Happy Family", and disliked cartoons. At only five months old, D2 wore 18 month clothes and could sit up by himself. D2 was very conversational with his first words being "Mama" and his eyes lit up when he FaceTimed his favorite aunties and uncles: Jasmine Jackson, Sean Jackson, Kimberly Hill, Kylanee Williams, Darius Charles, Kendrick Charles and Timothy Mack. D2 was always lightening up a room with his smile and appreciated nature like his mom. He loved his family and his family will forever love and cherish every precious memory together with him.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers: Erma Jean Carr and Charlotte Charles; great grandfathers Anthony Carr and Lawrence Charles Sr.; great aunt Jaquelyn Collins, first cousin Arthur Carr and second cousin Zay' Drian Carr.

He is survived by and leaves to mourn his sisters; Madeline Khan and Amauri Charles; Cousins; Lauren LeDay, Jacorey Jones, Gabriel Jefferson, Brooke Mack, Cole Jefferson, Sarah Mack, Klarke Nash, Darius Charles Jr., Darien Charles, Aven Thompson, Ralan Spears, Oaklyn Spears, Kai Spears; Aunts; Jessica Jefferson, Cherelle Mack, Ashley Hill, Kimberly Hills, Tiffany Spears; Uncles; Timothy Mack, Reggie Hill Jr., Gary Charles Jr., Kendrick Charles, Darius Charles Sr., Malcolm Charles; Grandparents; Antoinette Mack, Reggie Hill Sr., Gary Charles Sr. and Monica Charles. God Parents - Sean and Jasmine Jackson and many great aunts, great uncles, great grandparents, friend and cousins.

A visitation for Damien will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The committal will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home & Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
